Armourplatetm toughened safety and security glass is ideal for bolted structural glazing and frameless applications. Superb resistance to thermal stress makes Armourplatetm ideal for applications such as refrigerator and oven doors, where ordinary annealed glass would be likely to fracture. Armourplatetm is available in different thicknesses and various colours.
Armourplatetm meets the safety glass requirements of SANS 1263 Part 1.
Armourplatetm is available in thicknesses ranging from 4 mm – 19 mm. The maximum size that can be processed is 3660 mm x 2440 mm, subject to a maximum weight of 250 kg. Different maximum sizes will depend on application and design load.
